Glycol Dehy Emission Calculations
Glycol dehydrators are used extensively at oil well sites to remove moisture from casinghead gas before it is pressurized and injected into a gathering pipeline. All glycol dehydrators are combustion devices subject to monitoring (with some exemptions). Significant parameters that determine VOC emissions include the gas composition, and the glycol re-circulation, along with the pressure and temperature of the absorber tower, and the gas-processing rate. We go methodically through the stages to achieve as accurate an assessment as possible.
